@Jahleel Felix I would start at your REIA. Great learning opportunities and mine actually has free classes with seasoned investors Tuesday's mornings; perhaps yours have something similar. I would not spend money on a course when you have the BP podcasts and forums for free! I would also get books at the library also for free and when youve done that, you can spend what you would one course on 10 books and learn 10x as much

@Paul Shelley the REIA was great! They also have free classes every Tuesday at 9am if you're interested. I have my first deal underway. I'm thinking I may just create an event here BP for people to join since there doesnt seem to be much activity in OK other than the reia

Hello everyone! I would say this question is more for anyone in Oklahoma but all help is welcomed! There's an off market deal ive come by for a 100k house in Glenpool,OK. Theres already a renter renting for $850/mo and the numbers seem good. Ive only been in Oklahoma for a little over a year and want to know what you think of Glenpool? Neighborhood scout doesnt seem to help much for crime rates. Whats that like? How have your own deala gone there? Someone told me as long as the numbers work, whatever it is, he goes for it. I'm still new on BP as well and hope I posted in the right place.. Thanks!

Hello everyone! I'm new and this will be my first post. I've been reading books and listening to podcasts to develop myself first and am now ready to go to my first REIA meeting this Thursday. BUT, this REIA seems to only have 1 main meeting a month for anyone, then, 2 other meetings for landlords (one day!). Are there any other groups or established events i can look into and participate in to learn and meet people?
