Great post, filled with very useful information! Many of investors that I've worked with in the past have expressed interest in buying homes through the auction. Because of my little education and the many people (including my broker) advising me to stay away because of the mess they could bring, I didn't feel comfortable providing assistance in this arena.

I'm going to put some of these research methods to use and attend some auctions to get some exposure. If anyone is in Atlanta and plans on going to the DeKalb County auction August 4th DM me, maybe we can connect!

Well, I guess I should have read through the whole post before making my comment. Looks great though, and I see you went with the tile roof! I love the floors. It looks like a home that could be used for a movie or TV show. I know you have plans to resale this project, but there may be great opportunities out there to market your flips to film companies to rent for film projects who will offer a fairly nice monthly amount. Just a thought!

Hey Biggerpockets community! I've been an active real estate agent here in Atlanta since 2010 where I've specialized in assisting investors with attaining investment properties. Working closely with investors and seeing their success influenced my aspirations to become a REI myself. I recently started reading "The Book on Buying Real Estate with No or Little Money Down", which motivated further and brought me to both this site and the podcast in order to absorb all of the information I can.

I'm excited about making new connections, learning, and sharing what I've been exposed to and learned in the real estate investment market!
