Hello Martin there isn't a "bubble" in Detroit currently just a great ROI. My insights will be connect with local people to see where a good investment opportunity, if you like everything you see invest. Ask local investor friendly PM companies "is this _______ address a good area to invest in?" Just build your resources to invest like you would do anywhere else.

1) You can do Michigan Business Lookup on company name, and talk with tenants.

2) They can research and use google to their advantage

3) That goes without saying

4) What they check & how they interpret what they checked is equally important

5) By calling around and asking "What's your vacancy rate?" getting a potential % number to gauge from

6) Clients can prove this by asking the question "How often will you provide me with updates about my property?" then questioning those references from question 1

7) "IN YOUR OPINION"

8) by requesting said information

9) that's the purpose of the question is to know up front of the fees

10) yes protecting the vacant home against theft and squatters will be a charge, I'm strictly talking about vacant nothing else nothing more

I disagree with that logic, its all about doing your proper due diligence on these companies and tenants.  Plus not everyone is Detroit based to self manage their properties.
