Hi everyone, I am a real estate newbie investor in the Tampa Bay Area. I recently moved down from Delaware with the ambitions to start my real estate empire here in Tampa. I’m currently in the process of getting a pre approval, connecting with different personal and acquiring capital. One of the pieces I am missing is a real estate lawyer. If anybody has any references, please send them my way. Thank you and hope to connect with y’all soon!

@Doug H.

I’ll be honest with you and tell yo that this is exactly where I heard the idea. I have been doing my investigations and trying to figure out if this is for me or not. I wanted to get started and I am going to get start, just don’t know how to attack it. I am buying my first SMF with in the next two to three month (waiting for funds) so that I can house hack.

Hey everyone,

My name is Justin Lopez. I’m an aspiring investor in the tampa Bay Area! This year I should be able to quite my first property as well as dip into rental arbitrage. I’m currently in the process of networking and researching more about rental arbitrage! If anyone has done it within our area, I’d love to connect. Curious to hear thoughts, advice, successes, and even failures. Thanks in advance, look forward to chatting.

Hi Biggerpockets fam, my name is Justin Lopez and I am new real estate investor looking to invest in the Tampa Bay area. My girlfriend and I recently moved from Delaware and have not looked back. It only been two months but we can already see that Tampa will be our long term new home. I recently found my passion for real estate investing one day while scrolling through Tik Tok. The Tik Tok video described the methods of house hacking and how you could live for free. My business mind started racing and I wanted to figure out if this was really true. My research led me to bigger pockets along with a lot of other great resources. I was instantly hooked and purchased my first book "The book of real estate investing" by Brandon Turner and shortly after, I purchased "The BRRR Book" by David Greene. I listen to podcasts almost everyday just trying to grasp as much knowledge as I possibly can.

I created a 5 year plan which started the day I moved down to Florida. My plan includes both the "house hacking" and "BRRR" method. The only problem is that I have been down here for two month and have not connected with many people. I am eager and ready to jump in to real estate investing but I do not want to jump in until I get my systems in place. I would love to connect with fellow contractors, real estate agents, property managers, wholesalers and lenders in this area. I am also open to advice, suggestions and any education on the best place to get started. I really look forward to connecting and meeting like minded investors.
