Post: Paying off mortgage

Hello all

I am looking into buying $700k home in San Francisco within the next 2 years.

I have $160k in cash to use it for downpayment or pay off current rental home.

My question is

Would I be better off paying off rental home FIRST and use the rental income to help pay for 700k house monthly payment?

OR

Should I just use the 160k as a down payment on 700k home?

If I use 160k to pay off rental home, I wouldn't have any down payment for the 700k home so I am thinking about either paying PMI or getting piggyback loan. Is this a good idea?

Any good tax advisor you could recommend too?

Thank you so much!!!!!

Hello

Can anyone foresee where mortgage rates are heading?

One bank says interest rates will come down ever lower

What are your thoughts?

I have $60k.

Should I use this money to pay off current mortgage that generate $1500 rental income a month or should I use 60k as down-payment on a rural home, fix and flip?

Thanks

Hello all

Can someone share some wise advice on how to buy SFH in Sillicon Valley with just 10% down?

Seller financing or hard money is not an option.

Bank is charging higher interest rate plus PMI.

I really need to buy this home. Thanks

Hello all

I am looking for home to live in, not as an investment.
Where can I find valued home in Sillicon Valley San Jose CA?
Newly built town homes are no less than 900k, and SFH for no less than 800k.

I can come up with only 10% down.
Should I keep my eyes peeled for fixer upper and do rehab? OR wait until price fall?
What are your perspectives on this market?

I've asked similar questions in past, but most answers were irrelevant so I am back, hoping someone can provide valuable feedback this time. Thanks in advance
