Thanks @Gary Swank! I was also looking at my primary residence in squirrel hill or shady side neighborhoods.  I have heard good things about both.  I am looking for deals that are below $200,000 with the potential for some increase in equity in the form of improvements.   What is the market like?

I am just getting started and hope to have my first buy and hold rental property by mid 2018.  I am moving from Oklahoma City to Pittsburgh and want to know which market would be more stable for a rental property?

I would answer, but the blind can't lead the blind. ;)

Hello BP,

I am just getting started and I am looking to dive into REI. I am working on my license with the intent to use it for investing. I am not yet in a place to invest my own money, but I want to start gaining hands on experience. What should my first step be? Thanks!

Hello BP,

I am seriously willing to roll the sleeves up to get this thing right before I invest my own cash. I am an active duty member currently working on my real estate license and I am looking for some experience in the Oklahoma City area. What are some good ways to get started working deals, flips, rentals, etc...by working for someone else? There is so much earning potential in REI it would be stupid for me not to try. Definitely excited! Any guidance is appreciated!
