Honestly, I have no idea. The house needs a lot of work and would most likely create a lot of negative cashflow since it is so old and needs a lot of TLC.

Thank you @Michael Westberry ! Where was the home you sold located?

I see you live around here! I do have a question for you. Since you live in
Greer, do you think investing in a foreclosure right outside of downtown, off of Trade
Street would be a good idea? Considering you and Buy and Hold, what is your opinion?

Thanks, @James Wise ! Sounds great to me, @Brandon Turner . I may just do that!

@BrandonatBP Awesome, I am half way through the Beginner's Guide and I am getting more of a grasp on things.

One more question: What do you think about "flip-ins"? When someone lives in the house they are flipping so they don't have to manage two properties at once, at least while starting out.

Thanks for reaching out guys! I am actually just starting chapter 2 of "The Beginner's Guide to Real Estate Investing". @Brandon Turner how do you find out which kind of properties are right for you?

Where would you suggest I begin, as far as buying a house first or renting a house out that I've flipped? I am staying home while attending school so I have a place to stay.

That's good to know. Thank you, Mr. Vacek. I will look into finding an agent!
