And thanks for the tip. I’ll give him a shout.

How is your business going in town?

Hey South Carolina people!

I'd love to hear your recommendations on the best lenders you've worked with in the area. I'm looking for an FHA or USDA loan expert who can help me.

Sidenote: My name is John Tucker. I’ve been on here a while, listening and learning for a few years now, but I’m beginning to move towards my first deal. My wife and I have just moved back from doing mission work for a few years and we’ve got a baby boy on the way. Now I’m finally taking action after wanting to jump in for so long. I’m stoked to start and stick it out for the long haul.

Thanks for the help.

Jonathan,

Thanks for feedback. When you say “players in the game,” who are you talking about? Do you mean investors jumping on deals or more deals to choose from or both?

What is your personal strategy as we move forward?

Yeah, that makes sense. I was just looking at pricing trends and, according the graphs, the prices are generally still going up. How are you positioning yourself for when the effects start to show? How would you recommend someone starting out to position themselves (me)?

Crisis. It's all around us at the moment. It's hard not to think about, right? Turn on the TV and it's there. Turn on your phone and it's there. Turn on your radio... it's still there. But amidst all of this crisis talk, I want to start another conversation:

Where are the opportunities?

If all we are is who we are when hard stuff happens, who are we right now? I want to be someone that makes something of the hard stuff. Lemonade out of lemons!

So, looking at those experienced investors and newbies too, where do y'all think there is opportunity (buy and hold, wholesaling, fix and flip, liens, etc.) right now (I'm asking for myself as much as I am to start the conversation; I want help too)?

What problems are people having right now due to coronavirus? How could you serve them the best in solving that problem for them?

My first thought is that there is definitely going to be people who can't make their mortgage payments. They will either need cash fast or need to sell quickly. How could you best serve them and bring them the most value?

What do you think? Please share you thoughts and ideas. Let's kick this virus and come out better than before!

Hi, @Maureen Rhodin. I've actually just moved to Kona from South Carolina, but I am connected with a guy who is into flipping/new builds and has been in the game for a while here. I can ask if he'd be interested in taking over the job.

Is that something you would be interested in?

What's up, everyone! Long time to talk.

Quick question on generating leads: I'm setting up Podio, Zapier, and my Gmail to streamline incoming leads. It's sweet how efficient you can make it. I'm getting the hang of it, but I wanted to check with those that have experience using these tools often because I know there's stuff I'm missing.

What are the most helpful ways you use these tools?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm all for that! It would be great to at least meet other investors in the area.
