My brother and I are looking to move to Denver, Colorado within the next 5 months. We are currently both located in Chicago, IL (Wicker Park). We are looking to work with a realtor to help guide us on a rental unit. We will be staying in Denver from February 23-March 4 with the goal of signing a lease while there. We are looking to stay in,or very near downtown Denver, or one of the neighborhoods of Downtown Denver. We are mainly looking for an Open Concept 2b2b, W/D in-unit, dishwasher; 1 parking spot, and an outdoor space (e.g. balcony/patio), but not opposed to looking at a few 3b2b. 

Any assistance, guidance, or leads to a realtor that know the Downtown area of Denver would be so gratefully appreciated and thank you so much,

I am looking for a short term approximate 1 month rental in the Denver CO (1 bed, 1 bath) or surrounding areas in late August-September timeframe (can be flexible).  My goal is to check out the surrounding areas in hopes to potentially purchase a property. Any guidance in terms of starting points in where I could potentially find a short term lease?

I currently live/rent in the city of Chicago, but my goal is to move out of IL in the very near future. I'm potentially looking to purchase an investment property (condo or duplex) in the Naples, FL or Fort Myers area. I'm new to real estate, but looking to implement the buy and hold strategy. I currently own an IT consulting company and work from home, so traveling to properties/managing from Chicago won't be an issue. Any guidance in terms of real estate agents that know the markets well in those areas?

My name is JT Alexa and I currently own a small IT Project Management Consulting Business and I am looking to explore the real estate world to see if it is something I would like to pursue to move away from IT. One of the main reasons for this is looking ahead into the future of my interests, retirement, and in hope to gain capital with a steady flow of income. The investing side of real estate is something that interests me with one of my goals of purchasing a first property in 2017. Before I do this, I'd like to get a foundation of real estate. Any suggestions on where to start in learning about making decisions on purchasing property and recommendations on material to read in terms of a great starting point?
