Welcome @Tonya Robinson BP is def a great place to learn pretty much all there is to know about real estate investing. I would recommend the podcast and the free E-book The Beginners Guide to Real Estate Investing. The forums are great for questions so just jump out there. And yes you're correct buy-and-hold is a strategy is synonymous with rental properties. Good luck to you

@Herman Scriven welcome to Charlotte and BP. As everyone has already said this is truly a gold mine of information as well as a hub of like-minded individuals leaning on one another to grow us all. My only addition (which is my regular plug actually) is listen to the podcast. You can turn them on anytime and they are great to just play while doing other activities. Usually some little golden nugget in each podcast so to me you really can't go wrong there. Any how best of luck to you! See you around the forums!

@Raphael Cuthbertson I agree with @William Hochstedler seems like a very solid subject 2 option. I did a weekend workshop on them put on by Chris Goff. He's a BPer but I'm not sure how active he is. The workshop was pretty solid and I learned a good amount so if you want any of the specific forms/documents he provided shoot me an email I'd be happy to send them to you.

I have one of my less than ideal tenants calling me this morning with a toilet that has been backed up according to her for just at a month now. Does anyone have a go to plumber they have used in the Charlotte NC area that is well priced and effective?

Hey @Don Harris I could recommend @Shakiea McKinney shes a fellow BPer but in my experience has always know her stuff. Not sure how often she does flat fee listings but I'm sure you could give you all the details you are looking for!

Hi @Abhi Golhar I think we touched base on a previous post of yours. I know you mentioned being in the Charlotte area perhaps later this week. If you're free I'm always happy to grab a beer and talk over the latest and greatest in the area.
