Mike,

Since you plan on renting your condo, i'd suggest you ask your tenant to purchase

renter's insurance (liability and content). it's not expensive and also covers you too in case of injury in your condo.

have had some of my potential tenants asking to see their Smart Move reports.

All of which were turned down by me, as tenants, due to their credit/criminal background.

Not sure if i could/should show them the report.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Jacob.

if you plan to hold it for the long term and spend the kind of money wood demands, why not consider real tile floor?

i dont have all the info, but in my rentals i do mostly tile floor. it is usually more expensive, but it lasts much longer.

just my 2 cents....

very interesting.

thank you.

just purchased a condo from them last month.

everything went well.

i do suggest you read the contract and addendum (if there is one). if the language is not clear enough for you - use a pro (lawyer or real estate agent) to assist you.make sure you do your "homework" before bidding , it seems like it is "buyer beware" with them.

Good Luck.
