My name is Josue A. Llanas from Houston, Texas. I have been a "ghost" reader/listener to the bigger pockets community but have decided to start growing my professional investing network to reach more people in my area.

I currently manage and lease my mother's property. I'd like to start my investing career by building a 2-5 unit apartment in north Houston by the George Bush Intercontinental Airport. I plan on refinancing my home and using the cash plus some savings to fund the entire deal. My uncle is currently a contractor and will help me to build the units. Also, I'd like to do a couple of wholesale deals with the intention of building capital to be able to finance deals involving small (5-20) multifamily units.

I was a full time engineer but have since quit that to pursue my real estate investing career full time. Thank you.
