Does anyone have any recommendations for insurance companies that deal with properties held under an LLC?

That is really good news.  We are actually looking to purchase the home in OKC. No issues with the lender as we will be paying cash for the property.  So we will most definitely engage with the title company when we are that stage. 

Has anyone had to purchase a home from overseas without having the ability to notarize any power of attorneys? I was just wondering if there was a workaround?

Very insigthtful Doreen, thank you. One last question, can the two accounts also be combined with a Roth IRA? I.e. Our kids coverdells and an IRA Roth all rolled into a SD-IRA.

I have been putting money on coverdell accounts for two of my kids (3/1) and have them invested on a REIT and a high dividend ETF. I am planning on putting the 2k every year for both accounts until they go to college. That said, I read about self-directed accounts and the potential of possibly growing these accounts through real estate investments. With the accounts being so small not sure how I could use them for this and was hoping that someone out there had ran into this issue. Thanks again for any I sit and advice.

Good to know Chris.  Thanks for the insight. I am in the military and will be heading to the DC/Virginia area.  One of the agents for the seller of a house we are looking into mentioned PenFed.  Hence why I asked the question in the forum.

Just wondering if anyone had used one of these before? Pro/Cons?  We can pay off the loan prior to the 15 year mark but not sure if they charge an early payoff penalty fee.

Angelica,  we asked our realtor and has given us the thumbs up (renting wise) for the few houses we have been interested in.  I just wanted to get additional insights from the forum.
