I don't know if I'm stating this correctly but I was at a REIA meeting and I heard someone say that they put a Down payment of 10% on a house and he acquired some sort of hold on the house for so long, & once he sold the home he gained the profit. If this sounds familiar to anyone please respond and let me know, thanks in advance

See if they have someone available in state/city to let you look at the property 

door knocking , networking, & Craigslist possibly 

from what i understand and the people i have talked to you should always be honest

Try and attend all local real estate meet ups ...type in the city you reside in with Reia behind it on google and go from there

As far as growing your buyers list I would suggest attending all real estate networking events in your area for starters!!
