Hello, I just bought a duplex that needs updated appliances such as fridge, gas stove, and microwave. I would like to upgrade them to stainless steel and wanted to know where you shop for these items? It’s easy to go to Hime Depot or Lowe’s but is that really the best way? Anyone have another avenue I haven’t seen before?

As the title suggests I am new to St. Louis MO and am interested in buying my first multi-family home. I moved from Washington where the market is crazy and wanted to know if this area is reasonable or if there are any red flags I am not seeing/don't know where to look? I plan on house-hacking after using my VA Loan. I want to get a property up to 300k with 10-20% down and force appreciation by updating an area that is lacking on the property. Hello everyone! I am new to BiggerPockets but am diving deep into the Real Estate life. I have the opportunity to buy a 1B/1B cabin in Kenai Alaska. This is a small small cabin but in a great location if you love to get off the grid and go fishing. My question to the group is if I should rent or try the Air B&B route? I live in Missouri so I would be long distance and need a property manager either way. Thank you for the read!
