Hello everyone Joshua Meador here Clevelands favorite realtor!!:)

Anyway I'm looking into buying a triplex soon that has a bad slab foundation.

I was wondering if I can get everyone's thoughts and maybe some information on how some of your projects have turnt out...prices, length of time, ect.

I feel like the house will have to be jacked up and new footers poured and reinforce that way. Anyone ever did anything like that on a slab foundation?

I am on the east side of Cleveland. This is a ranch style triplex. 2500sq ft. Crawlspace no basement.

Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

Cheers my friends🥂🍻

So I am finally going to be buying my first duplex and 🏠 hacking for a while. I know I read a lot that says cash flow is King and all that. But I have a chance to get a duplex with a long term tenant in one unit. The thing is that I will end up paying out of my pocket around 200$ on the note, not including any repairs funds to be calculated.

I see ppl that are buying duplexes in other markets in upwards of 250k this one is under 100 with minimal repairs.

Can I get some of your thoughts please

Thanks so much in advance!!!

@Tom Ott

I would like to find a firm with investment like minded people as myself, not really to familiar with the different ones In Cleveland. Although I would like to I think getting in with a bigger name will have a better impact for the first couple years till I can build a book of business

Looking in Cleveland at different brokers. Looking into Howard Hanna and Berkshire Hathaway. What are your options of these?
