@Niyi Adewole is right on point. Pricing is per unit base and allows you to have unlimited users and data. Let me know if you would like me to clarify anything from what can be found on the pricing page.

@Mary S. I have not seen a lot of posts recently on recommended software that you can download. I did find a link to a number of online PM software solutions that BiggerPockets put together. What security features would you be concerned about?

@Matt Kowske these are some great questions. Here is a quick response to each of your questions, I'd definitely recommend reaching out to our support team for a more detailed response or a walk through.

1) That is correct that it shouldn't hit a P&L because that transaction is adding value to your property so it will show as an asset instead of an expense. You can run a cash flow statement or a rental owner statement to see how those funds have the left the property and decreased the cash balance.

2) These types of transactions can be entered with a journal entry hitting owner contribution if an owner paid for these repairs outside of Buildium.

@Kris Freeberg thank you for checking out Buildium. I just want to make a quick note on your third point. All of your property financial information is quick to access and drill down into by going into the accounting section or viewing the financials tab on the property page. You can download reports in PDF, XLS, and CSV. You can definitely provide your clients with balance sheets and income statements based on individual properties or group of properties (if it applies).

@Troy Williams feel free to reach out to me if you have additional questions on Buildium.

@Bill J. here is a good list that I found on BP and highlights a number of cloud solutions for property managers. I myself am on the Business Development team at Buildium and am more than happy to talk to you about what we have to offer at your convenience.

@Tyler Zindars your comment is on point. I've worked with many property managers across the US in my role of Business Development at Buildium and having a good systems foundation from the very start is essential for long term success. A full property management solution that goes beyond accounting can do some great things like help you reduce the number of unnecessary calls from tenants and owners while scaling your business. @Warren Romig and @Nicholas B. if I'd be more than happy to answer any questions regarding Buildium. Here is a great article from BP on bookkeeping

@Andrew Taylor thanks for mentioning Buildium. I'm on the Business Development side and have worked with a number of PMs who were first on QBs and then switched over to Buildium for a more integrated solution. We definitely help you handle the bookkeeping side of your business.

I'd recommend checking out this post on excellent bookkeeping. Let me know if I can be of any help.
