Hello,

I am in the process of setting up my home as a STR or executive rental in Scottsdale AZ. I wanted to ask if anyone had referrals, or recommendations for a rockstar property manager. The home is a 3/2 single family residence, renovated, and will be ready to market this fall. Thanks!

In everyone else’s opinion when would selling outweigh the rental opportunity on a property.

Location- Scottsdale Arizona

Monthly expenses- $2,200

Long term/short term rental comps $4,500-5000+

Equity- $350,000

Would most people sell and use the cash to purchase other properties, or keep it due to the strong market and cash flow for the next few years?

My name is Joseph Shipka, and I’m based out of Scottsdale, Arizona. I have a background in construction, working for development and real estate PE firms. I’ve always had an interest in owning investment properties of my own, and Bigger Pockets has encouraged me to start networking and actively search for investment opportunities.

Two years ago I went back to work for my family’s construction business. Our company renovates approximately 5000 units/year for multifamily owners, developers, and property management professionals throughout the Western United States.
