The only thing that should matter to you is that you and your tenants know you're doing a great job, and that your business is working. Anything outside of that is noise. Don't let negativity into your life!  :-)

@Mary Beth Groze I've tried a few online services for my properties in two different states, and currently use Cozy.co for tenant screening (they do national background checks and credit reports). My applicants pay for their reports, and it's free for me. It has worked well so far.
