Hi Fhanillia, Do you know if you have to be sponsored under a real estate broker in order to buy and sell your own properties? I'm looking to take the real estate license myself. Thanks, Joseph

My realtor is not meeting my expectations and I don't want to waste time looking around for another one. My question is, if I decide to go for the real estate agent license, do I need to be sponsored under a Broker in order to buy and sell my own properties? And if so, do I have to work for the broker full time or will I be able to do it part time? I'm in northern NJ. Thanks! Joey

BP community, I bought a house early this year at $199k (short sale) and it was appraised at $243K. Would it be possible to refinance the loan at the appraised value and get the difference in cash to invest in another property? Thanks, Joey

Or do you need to wait some time after the purchase to refinance the mortgage? Thanks, Joey

Congrats Murray Cronia ! Hi Kevin Hill , how strict is that 3 year FULL time requirement in order to get a brokers license? I plan on getting my real estate license but I would start off by doing it part time, would that count in any way? Thanks, Joseph

Julie Marquez I think you could summarize a bit more and maybe remove the questions at the end and just ask them when you get a serious inquiry or when they come see the house. :)

Hi @Patrice Boenzi the 75 hour required course in my state is about $350 and I believe the certification exam is about $50 on top of that. I'm not sure how much the fees are to be sponsored by a broker, so I'll have to look into that. thanks!
