So does everybody think say after putting ten years into chipping away student loan debt then start investing in real estate in my thirties is that a good strategy and not too late to get in the game.

 What are some recommendations in making sure you effectively evaluate how much money it costs to repair a fixer-upper? Is it worth it to hire other people to rehab the fixer upper if you do not have the time/skills to fix it on your own?

@Omar Khan , if I start acquiring knowledge now about real estate investing, work on bringing down my debt, and  start investing in my thirties you think I won't be behind?

@Omar Khan I am starting my career as an attorney this September but hoping to add real estate to my portfolio. 

Does anybody have suggestions about starting to invest with 150k of student loan debt? I know if I wait too late I will never get into  rental properties but I have to also worry about paying my loans

Does the rental contract determine if the Water, Sewer, Garbage bills   will be paid by the tenant?

Can somebody describe how to conceptualize appreciation in rental properties?

And what resources does one use to constantly research what markets are on the rise and worth investing into?

What states do you recommend looking for the most affordable prices to buy and rent out real estate?
