@Jose Nunez it's a high risk high reward play. I am about to put an offer on a house in Salem. It's not my first as I have 3 other investment properties. I am moving to deleware and figured let me invest in the surrounding area. The house in Salem will be my first Airbnb. I know...., who the hell is going to Salem to Airbnb. I have a plan. Cant give away my idea as I am not in contract and don't want to add competition for the particular house I will be purchasing....I know. A lil paranoid. The thing is you look into Salem right now and it's one of the few places you can put a below price offer and not have 30 people drive the price up 40k above asking.. it will be an Air bnb so I am not gonna buy and rent to the Salem residence just yet. I thought it out and I am going for it....wish me luck. I will post my plan after I am in contract to get the forums thoughts so stay tuned if you are curious.

Salem is so behind in the Real-estate market I would imagine this Massive project will infuse that communities economy.  College grads, engineers, construction....those people need a place to live.  I recently saw allot of coop apartments going up in Salem for sale and couldn't understand why.  I would imagine it is because of this Wind port  construction.

I am hearing about a Wind port coming to Salem New Jersey.  It is a 400 million dollar project that will bring allot of construction jobs and 1500 jobs to run the port.  Does anybody know about this and what are your thoughts about what kind of effect it will have to Salem New Jersey?
