Thinking about investing is never a terrible idea. The questions you should ask is "Can I grow my $50K with this idea or is there a better one out there?" Have you run the numbers on some properties to answer that question? If the rental cash flows, then it is a fantastic idea. If it does not, then there may be other locations that can help fund your Disney trips.

I assume you are thinking about AirBnB. If so, remember you will have to furnish the place too (pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, towels, sheets, etc.). Quite a bit of money goes into that part. Most houses in that area are going for $300K+. Townhomes are easily in the $200K+ and they have high HOAs. Fifty thousand may not be enough for the down payment and furnishings, unless you plan on doing a no money down or a very low, down payment.

If $50K is not enough, then hopefully someone on this forum can help with some ideas on growing your $50K or creative ways that you can achieve the goal of getting that place in Kissimmee with $50K.
