Hey Jay, Thank you for suggesting @Anette Lyons-evans's group she actually replied to the post and we are now in touch. Hopefully, it will turn out to be a positive experience for all of us. ;-)

@Tchaka Owen Thank you for the suggestion, you are actually the 3rd person to recommend them to me. Strangely, I tried contacting them on several locations by the means provided on their website and got no reply at any of the times. I actually thought they either when under or were so full that they were no longer interested in new memberships... Do let me know if you have a different contact for them and I'll happily try them out.

As for the newbie, I understand, I would expect some sort of segmentation (most likely by current investment income) but I still need to start somewhere ;-)

if you now of any newbie-friendly, non-sales, groups that I could attend please let me know ;-)

 Hey Matt, Orlando is not that far (I used to live there ;). I think that, given the current state of things, a virtual group will be a likely option. Having said that, most laws and location-based challenges are statewide so I would be so quick to discard a FL State Group... Let's see if we get any additional replies here and perhaps we can both find what we are looking for ;-)

Hey @Mike Morawski , thank you for the reply, a virtual, bi-weekly group sounds fantastic. And I might just take you up on that offer to join... 

My only concern is that I don't want to spread myself too thin. I really want to commit to whichever mastermind group I join and, given that I just posted the question here, I would like to see if I could get one with a bit more local knowledge at the moment. I truly do appreciate you offering it and you can rest assured that If I don't hear from a similar local group I'll be reaching out to you in the near future.

Hi Guys, 

Does anyone know of any Good REI Groups in South Florida where I can go to bounce ideas and help each other overcome challenges?

I'm a South Florida RE agent on the process of becoming a full-time investor and I'm looking for a serious mastermind group. 

I apologize for over-emphasizing the "Serious" part but, I've attended my share of Meetups for "REI" that ended up being nothing more than a sales pitch for expensive "education programs", rather than a what they promoted to be.

Just to be clear... I'm not looking for "The Perfect Solution in a Package" or any particular teacher, mentor, trainer, or method to follow. I'm Looking for a group of Like-Minded individuals with their own individual merits and challenges who actively participate in real estate investing and are either meeting or willing to meet to exchange ideas and find new ways to overcome challenges.

If you know of any such groups in the South Florida vicinity I would love to participate. I don't mind driving an hour or two if the meeting is worth it.
