I have a lead that came in for a property in Alexandria, Louisiana. However, I live in New Orleans which is about 3 and a half hours away from the property. The house was inherited and they live out of state and don't feel like dealing with it at all. Would anyone be interest in partnering on this?

I don't have a specific property interest to be honest. I feel like whether it's a SFR, a multi or even an apartment building. They all have their on perks and benefits.

@Shane Jeanfreau I'm actually from Chalmette and still currently living there. I only say New Orleans because let's face it. No one knows what Chalmette is, but almost everyone has heard of New Orleans! However, most definitely should get together sometime. 

Thanks Jeff. Didn't sense any hesitation in your post what's so ever considering you jumped straight into it. However, I said it's a goal of mine to have that. What's a vision without a goal? My vision is to become a successful Real Estate investor and could very well be one out of the thousand people that you just referred to. 

Not being discouraged at all, by any means. Honestly, if anything I thank you for your comment because it makes me want to work that much harder at achieving it. I don't say this in a sarcastic or egocentric tone either. I sincerely mean it. 

The last part of your message I would have to respectfully disagree with, completely. No one at 20 years old knows what they want to do for the rest of their lives and by not knowing the definitely wouldn't find something they actually enjoy doing. I can say this seeing how I am obviously 20 years old. Half of the people that are my age are still in college, still working at what they actually want to do for the rest of their lives. 

Haven't looked into getting a job doing anything of what you mentioned though. Definitely gave me something to think about and look into. 

Once again, don't take anything of what I said the wrong way. If I ever find myself in Rome, GA I hope we could get together for coffee so I can see what a seasoned investors portfolio looks like in person.

My name is Jordin Roussell. I'm 20 years old and am from New Orleans, Louisiana. Over the past year or so I have showed some serious interest in Real Estate investing, but little to no action. Recently a big mindset change happened in me and I'm going all in with it. I currently do internet marketing for car dealerships and am looking to leave my job April 27th, 2017. It's my 6 months to 6 figures goal if you will. At this moment I'm doing just wholesale deals, but I plan on having my first Apartment Complex by the end of 2017 with 36 units or more. I'm motivated, determined and coachable. Also looking to meet some new people in the industry.
