Hi Karen! Can you tag me for the next meetup please? I didn’t get an alert for that last one because none of my keyword alerts got used in your posting.

We had a meetup at Woodys in their back room earlier this year. Parking is pretty good there as well as their food and drinks (in my opinion). I can look through my email and see if I can find everyone from that meetup because I think some of them are missing from these threads.

Yes, with my wife. I vote for a restaurant or brewery!

Count me in for the meetup. Any place that serves food and drinks sounds good

@Harvey Yergin IV

Yeah I’m bummed about that. As far as I know you could still listen to the old ones though for someone new in the area

I would recommend connecting with @Brad Clarizio. He’s a really good investor friendly realtor to work with. I would also recommend listening to the Take Action Real Estate podcast. Its specific to Columbus investing and helped me learn about the area and investing in general.

Good luck!

I just got word today that my lender won't finance my Columbus, OH brrrr because they are uncomfortable with me being from out of state.  Have you ever run into this problem?

Jake Mchaley what kind of things do you run into with the property being commercial? Do you have to have dumpsters instead of tenants paying for their trash? Different tax rates? Maybe fire or city inspections etc?... Are all the utilities separately metered there?
