Newbie working on my first house hack. First I am finishing the basement and just had sump pumps installed as of 8/19/2022. The issue is, is that the guys just install the sump pump. They told me I had to hire an electrician to get a dedicated circuit for each of them.  So they aren't running right now.

My question is , its raining and has been raining for a couple of days now. Will my basement flood now? Because of the time in getting an electrician down there and then have them working... will my sump pumps fail or did I ruin it already? I am super new this kind of thing and been looking into the web for some similar circumstances and found nothing.

I fear that all the money I put down there is ruined because I didn't know I had to get a dedicated circuit for each of them. Thank you group!

Hi group,

Currently finishing up our basement and wanted to know if anyone has recommendations for a project to install some stairs leading down to our basement.

Maybe 5 or 6 stairs. Thank you group!

@Matt Buckley I did see this floating around the FB groups in the area. If these are a regular thing I'll have to make the future ones! Thank you for sharing this with me!

Hi everyone!

I am a newly licensed Realtor with eXP in the Pittsburgh area and I am looking to connect with Realtors and Investors in Pittsburgh. Have worked with out of state investors in securing foreclosed properties via Sheriff Auctions. Interested in ideas on growing my investor connections. I am an Investor friendly agent here in the space to learn as much as I possibly learn and potentially work with each other.

I'd love to connect with like minded people as I enter through the BP community.

I'd love to meet up for coffee (Cafetano is currently one of my favorite spots) sometime and learn from anyone in the area
