OK @Larry Fried, you've piqued my interest.  Where can I get more info about this crowdfunding platform?

Thank you all for all the welcomes and the explanations of your starts.   @Larry Fried and @Leslie Pappas we are definitely interested in hearing more about these investment strategies.

Larry-  You note 16-20% during a 3-5 year hold project.  What happens after that point.  Is the investment liquidated and paid out, or are these long term holds?

Leslie-  Thanks for the suggestion, I started researching a little and was led astray by the name at first.  I'll definitely look into them more.  I had a look at your website as well.  Are you dealing exclusively with Accredited Investors at this point?

@Michael Lee & @Account Closed and the podcasts!  But if there is anything the stock market has taught me it's "buy when they're crying, and sell when they're yellin."  We are also considering semi-local to LA, and from recent research, Texas is looking appealing.

Hello all!  We are a husband and wife team, Engineer Josh and Realtor Joray respectively, looking to start building wealth through real estate investing.  I, husband Josh, read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, about a month ago, and then Cashflow Quadrant... both in about 6 days.  I then started reading Hold, and simultaneously discovered BP.  Since then I've been voraciously devouring the BP Podcasts while working out or driving anywhere, as well as watching the Webinars when time permits.  I've personally been struck by motivation overdrive since the birth of our first child late in 2015..... hence the investment reading and the working out.

We are looking to start investing soon, but torn between local and out of state.  OOS offers many more accessible options, but we have some serious reservations with not being able to be there.  Currently we are looking to network with local investors both here on BP, and at perhaps some local events.  I've got a feeling I am going to be spending a lot of time here, so I am looking forward to meeting you all, gleaning as much knowledge as I can, sorry as we can, and offering as much as I can to the community with my limited knowledge and experience.

I would have an inspector specializing in foundations look at it or have a contractor that specializes foundation repair provide a quote to address the issues. You likely can find a contractor to quote a fix for free. Then work the repair cost into your analysis of the property.
