Post: Lawyer Reviewed Contract

Is it worth it to have my contracts drawn up, or at least reviewed by a Real Estate Attorney. I understand the state laws regarding wholesaling in NY are tricky, but is it worth it to spend the money to have lawyers review or draw up my contracts? I think it will save me money in the long term in the event I am sued, but lawyers are expensive and as a student, disposable income isn't exactly too prevalent. What I have saved would ideally go to filing an LLC and earnest money when I get properties under contract.

Post: Advice on NYC rental markets in Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island

I am a student in NYC, and have been working towards starting a wholesale company in the city, mainly focusing on servicing residential properties in Queens, BK, and LI. I was wondering if there were any seasoned NY wholesalers who have advice on where to find the most accurate and up to date market data, as well as successful strats to find 'motivated' sellers. I was also considering broadening my search to North Jersey, but I am unsure if I will need to change my contracts and tailor them to each set of state laws. Any advise is appreciated.
