Hey Matthew, I live in the Springfield area. I don't do any college rentals but I know a guy that does. He works at a rental management company that handles lots of college rentals. He would be able to point you in the right direction. He would also be able to lease and manage that property for you if you wanted to go that route. He is an investor and broker as well. Pm me and I will give you his contact info

Hey fellow BP members,

I am a newer RE investor and am looking for a private money partner in the Springfield,Mo area.

I have done one flip, thus far. I had a partner on it and it went well and we both made money. Unfortunately that partner has had some events in his life that are preventing him from continuing to invest. At least for the present time. So that leaves me looking for a new partner. I am looking to do flips in the 160-300k range. Although I am open to other price ranges as long as the #s work.

I have 25yrs experience in the construction industry. Have owned my own company for 13 yrs. I have studied the Springfield market for quite some time now. I have also invested about 1000hrs in real estate education of various types. I feel like my current skill set lends itself very well to flipping. I have also begun to network within the Springfield RE community.

So if you are interested or have any questions feel free to message me. I like to get to know the people that I do business with, as I find that "who" you are has a greater effect on how you do business then "what"what you are or "what" you have.

Thanks, Jonny

Hey, Jonny Jeppsen here

Just signed up, been reading the forum for about 6 months now.

I have been in the construction industry for my whole life ( started when I was 15 am 39 now) I have a good knowledge of all parts of the residential building process. I currently own own and run a company that does mainly tile and hardwood in high end homes.

We also do some general contracting. I have had this company for 12 yrs. this spring I stumbled upon a podcast about house flipping, WOW! After the first episode I was hooked! I knew that this was what I had been looking for. I partnered with a friend and bought a house in February, we had it rehabbed and sold in 2 months. All evening and weekend work. We cleared 47,000, which we split. MAN it was a lot of work!

But I loved every minute of it! Since then I have been on a very steep learning curve. Trying to learn the different parts of this business. I am now ready to jump in with both feet. I have started networking locally am working on a website and systems. Trying to put the back end in place so I have some infrastructure. I am here to meet some folks, learn and help in any way I can.

My strengths lie in the construction/ rehab side. But I would love to do some wholesaling and maybe some tax delinquent deals as well. I look forward to meeting and getting to know many of you. Business is about people, always has been, always will be. Thanks, Jonny
