I've been here for 18months since coming over from Aus and am loving it. There are some good people in Real Estate around here... and some not so great ones haha, but have no doubt you'll find your way through it all.

Hi Vic, my wife is an all-star property manager working through Reliance Trust Realty here in Downtown Melbourne. She has properties all over Brevard that she manages for our clients. We just recently purchase and put a tenant in a property for a landlord out of New Jersey so long distance isn't a problem.

Thanks everyone, the response was AMAZING and I read/appreciated every post.

Hey guys, absolutely love this site and everyone on it. I'm just about to jump into the Buy & Hold side of REI and just wondering if anyone has any classic mistakes that they would see a first timer like me make consistently.

*Insert a quote about learning from the mistakes of others etc etc.

Would really appreciate the heads up so I can make a smart move into Buy & Hold investing.

Bigger Pockets, thanks for creating such an amazing resource for people like me moving towards getting into Real Estate Investing. I moved to Melbourne, Florida a year ago to marry my now wife who is a commercial realtor. I've spent the last 10yrs involved in Real Estate one way or another but now looking to step my game up and take it a lot more seriously.
