Welcome! I'm brand new to all of this too and am looking to start investing here in Fresno soon! Good luck with both your CPA career and with real estate investing.

I have approximately $5000 to invest. It's not a lot but I want to get into the game soon. Any advice on the best course of action to invest that small amount of cash?

Hello BP Members!

I am new to the Bigger Pockets community and am learning all I can from the Podcasts and this Website!  I am fascinated by all of the great information here and am currently employed as a Sales Manager at The Falls Event Center.  I am in the process of obtaining my Real Estate License and hope to begin selling/investing part time.  My biggest challenges are getting over the "analysis paralysis" and figuring out how to "get in the game" with a limited budget and a credit history that took a beating in recent years.  I look forward to learning and interacting with other BP Community Members and contributing as I learn more about investing in Real Estate!

Thanks for the input.  I would eventually like to quit my job and do real estate full time (selling and eventually investing) and eventually build up a portfolio to retire in 20-25 years.

Good Morning Everyone,

I am new to Bigger Pockets and am listening to the podcasts religiously.  I'm learning all I can while I juggle a full time job, family responsibilities and studying to get my Real Estate License.  I really don't know if I want to get into flipping houses or buy and hold at this point since I don't know what I don't know.  Just looking for some opinions on different courses of action for investing $5000-or less if possible.  I want to get started and don't want to become a victim of "analysis paralysis".  Thank you in advance!
