Hi everyone!

My name is Jonathan and I have been looking out of state for rental properties in the Daytona Beach area. My brother attended College at Embry Riddle university. So I have visited the area many times and have been wanting to start looking for rentals in this area. Not sure if short term rentals would be the best for the area or if I should stick to finding normal rental properties.

I would love to hear opinions about the local market and get in contact with local RE investors in the area and learn from the best!

@Marlon Walls Whoa this very impressive, I am currently in the same boat. I am about to graduate and I am currently trying to save enough money for my own house hack. Its been a crazy semester and I recently got a position with Yardi systems. Its crazy to think I would be recruited by a company that provides property management software to real estate companies. I am going to be working closely with the commercial team, and will be able to see how they use the software to manage properties. Hopefully I will be able to learn as much as I can so that when I start investing on my own, I will be well equipped.
