*Outside of the legal issues as I’m sorting that out with my custodian*

I'm interested in purchasing a short term rental with my self directed IRA. Has anyone done this and can lend some advice on lessons they've learned?

I think this could be the best return on my money. If I can find a property that the numbers work with management as I wouldn’t be able to work on the business.

Again besides the legal issues my other thought is that I would rent the property one week out of the year and go through the normal way of booking as if I didn’t own the property. I’m interested in purchasing in Florida, possibly destin area, Pensacola area, or even gulf shores AL area.  Thanks

I recently started my account with first horizon. I chose that bank because in my area they were one of the few that didn’t charge fees for the amount of transactions I will do. I’m new as well but I’m not sure why any bank would deny you service because of real estate ventures.

Do a google search for banks in your area and spend 15-20 minutes a day calling as many as possible to see who will work best for your needs. That was my method and I think it’s worked this far.

I’m new to all of this but I will say that I’ve found a few lenders, including the one I recently used, wouldn’t allow me to buy the property under my llc. Although according to the lender and the terms I am allow to transfer the property to the llc as an act of donation.

I’m new to investing but you can look into getting a digital antenna. I have one and it can catch all local channels plus many more and a lot are broadcasted in HD. In not sure if your location but I’ve included a link that allows you to check availability. Normally the antenna cost around $50 last I looked.

Ps I will say that this would be in addition to a streaming service but once you make initial investment it’s free!
