@Fredy Sandoval thank you for your response. How did you approach your first rental property here in LI!!! Have you seen a positive cash flow in your investments ?

@Tyrek Brown I appreciate your response. I want to be local for my first rental property so I can gain the experience. One day I would like to invest out of state. House hacking may be my option considering i live in ny. I first want to network and attend meetings here in LI. Any recommendations?

Thank you for the input. I clearly do not know what i am doing. Any recommendations on improvement please.

Hello, not sure if am am doing something wrong when inputting the numbers. I keep getting a negative cash flow! Please help.

My name is Jonathan Quintanilla and I've recently started educating myself in real estate and the BRRRR method. I live in New York, and considering how high the taxes are here, I was wondering if this is the ideal place to start as a rookie. Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you
