Hello,

Hope everyone is doing well.  My name is Johnny and I am a young RE investor based out of Massachusetts.  I am really interested in getting into the Wholesaling business and wanted to connect with other members who would be willing to open up about their exp and what kind of advice would they give to someone starting out.  I am open to even working with a wholesaler to gain knowledge and exp.

Hey Everyone,

I recently closed on my first house hack in Lowell, Ma (2 family) and now I am looking to BRRRR my next property. Anyone have any suggestions on how to move forward if I have limited funds (money) to start?

MA could be a bit pricey but I am open to using the BRRRR anywhere in the U.S.

Great question! I received my B.S in emergency management ( I originally wanted to work for the DHS) and recently obtained by MBA earlier this year.

I think in a way my B.S degree helped me with RE it made me a better planner where I can jot down my goals and plans with whatever properties I am looking at. To add to that my agent went to the same school and we graduated together so there’s that!

It’s a great question and I am curious what others have to say.

Hey Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well.  

My wife and I looking to getting into our first house hack in a couple months as we are working with a mortgage broker and agent on that. I was also thinking on getting into the BRRRR method as well once we are settled in the house hack. Has anyone used a hard money lender (HML) to fund a rehab property? Can a HML fund the rehab as well?

I am only asking just to gain more education and get a better understanding once we start the BRRRR process.

Great question.  I am currently in the process of getting the 1st multi family (plan to house hack it) and also want to know what others have done when getting that 2nd property.  Would like to get the 2nd one next year.

Hey Everyone,

I am fairly new to BP and so far everything looks pretty cool.  My question is, my wife and I are looking to make our first home hack property by end of year (multi family 2-4 units) and is looking to decide which loan would be best to use on a first purchase if we plan to purchase a 2nd property in 2-3 years after our first purchase.  

I know you can't carry two FHA's at once and most refinance their FHA to conventional and open another FHA.

If anyone could share their thoughts or ideas please let me know!
