Hello @Bill Manassero

I am also from Mission Viejo and am looking to invest out of state but a little apprehensive, I would love to hear your successes.

@Calvin Reid  Thank you for you input.

@Rich Johnson

Hey Rich thank you for the info that is very helpful

@Aram Duell

Hello Aram, I have not purchased the property as of yet. I am trying to see if my plan is feasible. I would like to take the cash i own on another debt buy a property HELOC it and pay the debt with the HELOC funds and have the tenants pay the debt.

@Reese Thompson  Hello Reese,  I have a bit of debt i want to payoff and would rather pay the cash for a property and have the renters pay the debt, and keep the asset.

Thanks for the replies..

Hello,

I am curious if it is possible or how difficult it is to get a HELOC on a paid off apartment complex. if possible what would be the LTV you could get? How does the bank value an apartment complex.

Thanks
