@Fabian Friedrich

Where did you get the architect?!

@Fabian Friedrich

Thank you for the response!

Hey guys,

Was wondering about building permits and ability to do my own renovation work in Fairfax County, VA.

I’m looking to refinish the remaining half of a basement that isn’t already finished. This will

include flooring, dry wall, paint, fixtures, and small kitchenette which will probably include a small stove top range.

I understand this will undoubtedly require a permit, but can I do the work myself or do I have to hire a contractor?

Thanks guys!

John

Anyone wholesaling or real estate networking in the Monterey, CA area?

Looking for a real estate agent that can find a single family home deal in the Woodbridge/Lorton/Quantico area!

Will be moving to Northern Va area in about a year, am active duty military, and will be looking for a single family house. Is it still possible to find something I can lightly renovate (countertops, new appliances, paint, redo a bathroom) and make some money or are all of those deals gone? Looking to live in the house for a couple of years, then, of course, move again because I’m in the military. Would like to hold on to the house and rent it.

Currently have one rental property and have issued one private loan.

Thanks!
