@Guy Olds Thanks, Guy. That's a great site. I'm going to trial it now. Do you use this in conjunction with Podio or other CRM platform and how do you automate the process? What have you found successful -- emails, mailers, etc. -- from an ROI perspective? I'm mostly applying a BRRRR strategy so mailers might be overkill (?). That said, I am open to other types of REI.

I have a follow-up question. Once I have a list of pre-foreclosure properties, how do I find out how much equity the homeowner has in the home (or what is the size of the loan left on the home)? Who would have that information, apart from the bank holding the loan?

@Greg Hall You can ask a title company for a listing.  They should be able to provide one to you (either for free or for a fee).

I'm a fellow LO resident renter who hasn't pulled the trigger on a home purchase yet, and also interested in REI (mostly passive investing but also advanced financing solutions). Coming from the CA Bay area, I thought the home prices would have been lower but not in LakeO. That said, we came here for the schools and don't regret living here for our kids.

PM me if you're up for getting together some time, pooling our knowledge, and figuring out if there are opportunities.
