Hello all,

I live in the Silicon Valley and have the opportunity to train with Keller Williams. The only fees the rep discussed were close to $500. I was planning to take Real Estate courses and get a Cert from the local Jr College until I found Keller Williams on Craigslist and reached out to them. It seems like a faster route and the cost are about $100 difference. Any advice (good reviews) with them? Or should I stick to the JC and the test for a License?

Also, in the state of CA does anyone know how much it cost to get a License? I cant seem to find it anywhere online.

Thanks BP

Can someone tell me how you all are adding the "@ plus name" when commenting please. neewbie here

I saw this on tv once. Guy made a fortune. For me I am unsure, but happy to know that there are other people out there who think like me. I told my BF all things need to be fixed. look over there, we could own that, flip it, and make a profit.

Thanks for all the tips guys.

That said I'd hazard to guess that there are at least a few wholesalers out there operating without proper licensing. It's a business decision on their part and one that seems unlikely to catch scrutiny unless enough people get ripped off and start making noise.

And yes I spell checked this post (thank goodness!)

Is it also illegal in the state of Ca, to host a Seminar and tell the audience they do not need a License to do Wholesaling? I just attended one stating that as well. There are topics Online that also clearly state the same info. I am completely ready to start Wholesaling, but not if it is illegal.

Gee.  You better tell Blackrock and some of the other big investment houses they are breaking the law buying tapes of properties and reselling them as-is.  Better tell the note buyers, too.  Better yet, call the attorney generals in every state they are operating.

I didn't see "licensed attorney" in your credientials.  Not sure you are qualified to render legal opinions.

Well Rod the major companies like Blackrock own the properties or have used crowd funding techniques but title is owned nevertheless. If they own it that is an entirely different matter. Might want to check your spelling on "credentials" before you decide to quote.

 lol

I am interested in Wholesaling in my area and I would like some real answers regarding the idea of putting a property "UNDER CONTRACT" Is it true that you can do this with NO MONEY involved? Everything I have read DOES NOT say this in EXACT words. Any advice?
