Given the cost in Western Mass vs the Coast this is a great question.  I'm curious to hear more from anyone in those areas that might have some insight.  Do you see the property value vs the rental amounts making it worth a look?  Jobs seem to be a slow but steady increase.

Hi Everyone,

I'm finally getting ready to take the plunge and start investing in multi units.   I've lived in Mass for most of my life and the values of properties have always been on the high side.  I'm curious what people think about weighing out the costs versus the Tenant Rights of the state.   I've seen and heard the nightmare stories of the Tenants who don't pay and stay in the property for super extended periods of time.  I understand this can happen in any market but I know that MA is also over the top siding with Tenants as opposed to Owners.

The reason I ask this is that I'm trying to determine whether or not NH would be a better place to start.

Anyone have any thoughts or insight on this?   Any input is appreciated.

Thank you,

Howdy Y’all!

Finally starting to make my move. I’ve been listening to the BP podcasts and reading everything I can. Now is the time and I’d love to get out and meet some likeminded people in my area.

Anyone from MA/NH coastal area recommend any meetups somewhat nearby?

Hey everyone. I'm new to the site and trying to learn what I can from people already working in today's market. I'm interested in learning about rehab and hold multi-units in Massachusetts and/or NH. If anyone has any info or advice I'd appreciate the help. Thank you.
