Thanks for the advice! I was looking into getting a duplex with a FHA loan at 3.5 percent down. Should I go ahead and start the pre-approval process? I've been on my job 1 year this month?

I’ve been in Atlanta for 1 year and saved $9K so i can house hack. What areas should I look? Would 9K be enough for me to start in Atlanta? When should I get pre-approved, and start looking?

Im interested in a duplex/triplex in the Atlanta area, but i have some questions if you all can help!

I just finished grad school, and I moved to Atlanta. Im currently renting an apartment, and my lease ends September 2020. I have about 10K in my savings, and plan to save more.

When should I start looking to make offers? I plan to start as soon as possible.

Is 10K enough to start? If not, how much more should I save?

With FHA, will I have to be at my current job 2 years, even if i just finished grad school, to qualify for FHA?
