Hello, I'm doing research on the OKC area as an out of state investor. Does anyone out there have a realtor they would recommend? Somebody who understands what an investor is looking for and who can find opportunities?

John, I'm looking at the South Chicago suburbs like Hazel Crest, Country Club Hills, South Holland, Park Forest. I'm looking to buy and hold rental properties. Mostly interested in SFR but also multi unit flats.

I'm looking to make contacts in the Chicago area and any advice on how to make these contacts from afar would be appreciated. Specifically I'm looking for the following:

1. Realtor who can make me aware of new properties coming onto the market

2. Property management company that can be trusted

3. Contractor that can be trusted

The trouble I'm having is that I'm just shooting in the dark and everybody is going to tell me they're the right person.

Demetrius: I've never looked at the Park Forest neighborhood, so I have no input on that. Sorry.

I'm looking into buying properties in the South Chicago neighborhoods. I'm looking for category B properties: SFR, duplex or double flats. Right now I've been focusing on South Holland, Hazel Crest, and Country Club Hills. Does anybody have any insight into these neighborhoods or would anyone suggest a different neighborhood?
