Post: Investor Friendly Mortgage Companies in Colorado?

Hello all, I am looking for a long term lender in Colorado.  A broker is fine as well.  I just might need $15k help with the down payment.  I do not want to purchase the entire property with hard money. I’m looking for recommendations for reputable mortgage companies that are investor friendly and might have some ideas on the down payment shortage.

I live in Greeley, Colorado and am looking at a property in Grand Junction. Can you recommend some investor friendly mortgage lenders in Colorado? I am looking to make an offer on a property and I’m a little bit short (maybe $10k) of a 20% down payment.

I am already in a house hack, so I can’t go the 3-5% down route. I’m looking at getting qualified for a 30 year mortgage, but need some ideas on the down payment shortage. I figure a good mortgage company will have some hard money leads, etc.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Cassy!

Congratulations!  That is absolutely incredible what you were able to do on your first flip!

I live in Greeley and am working on that first deal right now, but prices are so expensive here.  I am looking at everything and getting creative.  I'm confident I'll find something if I just keep my eyes and ears open.  I own a 5 bedroom house in Greeley as my primary residence and just rented out 3 rooms for additional income.  Lucky to have purchased the house in 2016.

Anyway, I think I saw in another post that you're moving out of the state soon and I wish you all the luck!
