Hi everyone. I would like to know the pros n cons v of buying one block from the beach v buying 10 minutes from the beach. In terms of finding ppl I can rent to using Airbnb. I am looking to purchase a property in Clearwater Florida

Hi everyone, looking to purchase in Clearwater Florida to live in for six months and rent the other six months out of the year. I’m curious whether I would get enough renters at a property 10 minutes from the beach, rather than having a property to rent one block from the beach. I would love to discuss that and other finance questions regarding anyone who is well versed in Airbnb!

Thank you so much for responding quickly. I will be a first time homeowner so this is really my first steps here. I figured since I am by myself starting smaller with a condo and a small HOA fee would be the best move.

After a couple years or so it will be paid off and I can keep it for renting purposes.

Looking to purchase first property (Condo in Florida). Moving there out of NJ. Curious what I should be focusing on when choosing a place to move. Schools? Employment rate? Crime rate?

The purpose of purchase is to own a property, not really looking to flip. But after a couple years have the property paid off and rent out while I purchase another property to live in.

Budget is about 100-125k.
