Congrats! House hacking is such a powerful tool. Love that the STR model worked for this property too.

@Doug Spence Thanks! I actually used HUD section 184 with 3.5% down. My husband is Native American, so we were able to qualify for that.
Our plan is to do either another house hack or purchase a short term rental next. 

Hey @Marque Luster! The OKC market is pretty hot right now. But there are still deals to be found. I would say, narrow your criteria and be specific about what you want, and then just be patient and wait for the right thing. I knew I wanted to house hack. I knew how much I wanted to cash flow from each unit. I had to wait several months for the right thing. But once it came on the market, I knew it was perfect, because I had my exact criteria lined up.

@Byron Williams Would highly recommend house hacking a duplex. It was a great first investment.
