Can an LLC borrow from the personal Heloc and use the funds to fix the house. Can this loan then be incorporated into the closing documents when sold so that it is repaid prior to the 1031 exchange?

Nathan, Thank you for your insight.  The checklist will be a great help as I interview companies.  Others have made the comment to discuss how repairs are completed as some do not do post work inspections, but leave it to the next move in inspection for comment.  This seems like signing a blank check to the repair contractor. Is this standard in the industry?  Can you share how your company handles repair work and insuring the work was performed as requested with good craftsmanship?
