@Stephen Johnston that’s amazing to hear! The house has a washer/dryer closet but there is no washer hookup at the moment. The washer is in the kitchen instead so I am looking to add a washer hookup in that closet and a dishwasher. Other than that, we need to clean out the HVAC but the house was painted already so we don’t have too much to do.

@Stephen Johnston Thank you! We are actually trying to do a few things to it as well. Do you know any good plumbers, HVAC and electricians there?

Also are you using a property manager or are you doing it yourself?

Hi @Stephen Johnston, so we were actually looking in Pensacola. We are a military family so we want to invest near military bases. We had been looking for awhile and couldn't really find too much in our price range and also decent neighborhoods, so we decided to look for something near Keasler instead. For that one specifically we are looking more long term.

Congrats on closing that's very exciting! Are you doing long term or short term?

Hi @Pat Heidingsfelder Thank you for letting me know. This is our first investment property and not being there makes it a little harder. I am working with a local agent and we are currently in escrow but I just wanted to make sure the area is good. I will be coming to get the property ready and do a little work to it in the beginning of March. If you have any advice, I would love to hear about it. As I said I am very new to all of this so I definitely appreciate all the help. Thank you

Hello everyone! My husband and I are buying our first property in Ocean Springs MS. We are out of state and can’t really drive around to look at the neighborhood.
Is someone familiar with the area that can help give us some feedback? The property is located on 103 Grand Teton
