Hello BP, currently working on a fixer property and it has 2 water heaters. One in the kitchen next to the fridge (behind the cabinet in the picture below) and the other in the detached garage where the laundry machines are at. Is it necessary to have 2 water heaters? Also, would it cause more problems if I relocate or remove the water heater in the kitchen?

Hello, I'm looking for a good handyman in the Redlands area to help work on my first fixer property. Any recommendations?

What’s up BP! I’m in escrow on my first property, it’s a fixer upper mainly needing cosmetic work. How should I tackle the order of rehab? Should I start with the flooring first, kitchen, then paint? Or should I start with the exterior? (Needs some stucco repair, new roof on the detached garage).

@Luka Milicevic Did you remove the hinges or just sprayed over them?

@Jeremy Komer I heard if you use Zinsser Cover Stain Classic Oil-Based Primer, you don’t need to sand them. Are you familiar with that product?

@Marian Smith I will check out Cabinet Door World. I could just replace the cabinet doors/drawers, not sure how much that would cost but I will dig deeper into it. Is it difficult to DIY install cabinet doors/drawers?

@Theresa Harris Thanks again for the insight Theresa! I’ll just give them a good cleaning.

@Joe Splitrock Would you recommend changing out the appliances? The stove/microwave are in decent condition but there’s a large gap between the cabinets.
