Hi Chris,

Great question and poor applicant screening is a common mistake a lot of people make.

Here is how we screen applicants: http://www.jmbgrouppm.com/blog/item/22-how-to-scre...

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for taking time to read the blog and respond. I checked with our screening company and in addition to detailed county and state criminal checks they do perform a national search as well based on all the criminal records they have.  Below if from the company:

"A powerful, virtually instant multi-jurisdictional search of over 245 million state and county criminal records. This database is compiled from counties, Department of Corrections (DOC), Administration of the Court (AOC), and state sex offender registries from across the country. Also included in each search are national and international terrorism sources such as OFAC. This is an effective tool for discovering an additional jurisdictions where criminal offenses may have occurred outside of an applicant's indicated residential and employment address history. This search includes the National Sex & Violent Offender Database, and the National Security Database. Please see the jurisdiction notes below for specific coverage and limitations for each included jurisdiction. Our Multi-State Search currently scans over 245 MILLION RECORDS and includes a bonus FREE search of sex and violent offender criminal records and terrorist check. Our Multi-State Search also conducts a broad for alternate names for your subject using our unique NameScan+ feature! Search results are available instantly!"
